Cloister (Kreuzgang)
Immerse yourself in an oasis of peace and contemplation: visit the garden with ornamental plants of cultural history in the centre of the late 12th century cloister and ponder about the meaning of whimsical figures, animal scenes and grimaces.

A stunning view over the city and the lake all the way to the nearby alps: the audio guide accompanies you on the 187 steps from the nave up to the viewing platform on the Karlsturm.
Tip: you can also experience street art with Naegeli's Dance of Death sprayings.

- Tickets can be purchased at the information desk in the church, no reservation is needed (except for groups)
- Earlier or temporary closures possible due to church events or bad weather.
- On Tuesday, the tower is not accessible for groups and school classes because of pipe organ lessons.
- No lift available (187 steps).

Access by car is permitted between 5am and 12pm, but parking is only available with a permit.
Access for deliveries for an event in the church is also possible after noon with an access permit in the restricted zone.
